RtvReco Startup Group Fix

When RtvReco is put into the Windows 95 Startup group, it sometimes fails to work. I don't know the exact reason for this, and the problem appears to go away on some computers, but in the meantime Dean Maynard has come up with an elegant solution to this problem.

  1. Make a batch file called RtvReco.bat which consists of just one line:
    start /m c:\progra~1\dialog~1\rtvreco.exe
where the path is obviously dependent on your system.
  2. For the properties of the above batch file, choose: run as minimised, and close on exit.
  3. Now, simply place a shortcut to this batch file in the Startup folder.
